Parachute Pants
The 14th July saw the culmination of a Health and Wellbeing Project run by partners Age Concern, Trinity High School, and Jestaminute Community Theatre c.i.c, funded by a grant from Redditch Borough Council. A brand new play ’Parachute Pants’, which shared the war-time reminiscences of Redditch residents, was performed the Palace Theatre.  The pupils had previously been out and about the town interviewing some of the elderly residents; and the gathered memories were transformed by the young people into to a short play, with the aid of Andy Higgitt,  director of Jestaminute Community Theatre c.i.c. The play was well received by the audience, including the interviewees who were invited to attend.
