The Fountain Passage Mosaics
Several small (630mm) glass panels have been incorporated into the walls of Fountain Passage, the covered walkway leading from Walter Stranz Square by the Town Hall to the back of Debenhams’ store in the Kingfisher Centre and also in the pedestrian underpass leading to Car Park 3.

Funded by Thornfield Properties Plc, they are the result of a 2003 project, created as a ‘homage’ to the Paolozzi mosaics in Milward Square, and involving over 40 young people from all four local high schools : St Augustines, Trinity, Kingsley and Arrow Vale. The theme running through all the panels is that of ‘water’, and their design and fabrication was facilitated by Collective Art Noise of Birmingham
