Morton Stanley Festival 2009 is a huge success!
Redditch played host to the inaugral Morton Stanley Festival this August.
Around 4,000 people enjoyed a free event in stunning Morton Stanley Park featuring the best in Midlands music, including 10 acts from Redditch itself.
Playing across the two stages on the day were Pegasus Bridge, Lets Go Ravens, The Divine Secret, A Poetic Yesterday, Dials, Idiosync, The Anomalies, Joshua Cosnett, The Call Out, The Jelly Bean Rebellion, The Peace Keep Riot, Dear Ambellina and That Man Fox.
Following the success of this year’s event, plans are already afoot for next year, with the possibility that the festival may span an entire weekend. So watch this space!
