Local Authors : John and Anne Bradford

John and Anne Bradford began their publishing company in 1992, when Anne noticed a wealth of old ghost stories in the Redditch library and was persuaded by the librarians to publish them. She has now produced about eleven collections of ghost stories, some are co-authored and some are for other publishers. She has expanded into oral history, with histories of Royal Enfield, Stourport-on-Severn and Redditch. John has walked the length of the Severn, Avon and Teme and has produced three full-colour picture books with annotated photographs of his walks. Anne is currently working with Mike Johnson to produce a range of oral history booklets, priced at about £2.95.
